Opened on October 18, 2002, the AT&T Centre is an indoor arena which is located in San Antonio, Texas, USA. The arena is home to the San Antonio Spurs of the NBA and the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL in the winter-spring, the San Antonio Silver Stars of the WNBA in the summer, and the annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo held in February.

The AT&T Centre is not only an arena. It has much more than that. Along with 50 luxurious suites, the AT&T Centre has become one of the most sought after venues for football, hockey, concerts or religious gatherings. In addition to many local community and sporting events, the San Antonio Sports Car Association holds autocross competitions in the parking lot each month.
Basically, every week something or the other is definitely happening at the AT&T Centre and thus if you are travelling through San Antonio, Texas then you must definitely stop by at the AT&T Centre and watch a match, a concert or a show.
However, the AT&T Centre was initially and originally not meant to be called so. It was built as the SBC centre but later in 2005, as SBC itself changed its name to AT&T Inc. after purchasing AT&T Corporation hence the centre was renamed as AT&T Centre.
